Through the years there have been many setbacks and successes regarding continuous prayer and worship in San Francisco. We are grateful for all of those leaders in the faith that have gone before us, but citywide day and night prayer in San Francisco has still not come to its full potential. We are believing for it to be established on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10), where God never ceases to be praised (Revelation 4:8-11).
We aim to foster an environment where people from all the Bible-believing congregations in San Francisco can gather in unity and pray and worship at any time as the Holy Spirit leads them in the freedom that Jesus purchased for us at the cross.
The emphasis during these prayer watches will be on seeking God’s face (2 Chronicles 7:14), and facilitating a habitation for His presence that will bring authentic revival through continual praise (Psalm 22:3, 67:5-6).
There will be no idolizing of Christian celebrities (1 Corinthians 3:4-9), agendas, or anything too controlling that might quench the Spirit of God (1 Thessalonians 5: 19).
Let’s unite under what we have in common as believers! One thing the Christians in this city can all get behind is giving God the glory He deserves through prayer, praise, and worship (1 Peter 2:9).
We plan on working our way up to 24/7 prayer and worship, with the help of different teams from around the city and beyond leading watches (Isaiah 62:6-7). Hopefully it will be YOU!
